Raising Mental Health Awareness: Don’t Be Afraid to Seek Support

Welcome to Be Your Own Date - a space dedicated to all things self-care and wellbeing. If you haven’t already done so, I encourage you to take a look at my other posts; I hope you’ll like them and find them useful too!

This post is dedicated to championing mental health and wellbeing.

Don’t be afraid to seek support if you need it

I care deeply about raising mental health awareness and helping to break down the barriers to accessing support. These are some of the things that my experience working in mental health and social care have taught me. If this post has piqued your interest - I very much hope so - and you would like to find out more about mental health including ways to help improve your mental wellbeing, why not have a read of my other blog post about 7 simple tips to lift your mood. It was written in honour of Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 in the UK, though the information and resources provided will be helpful all year round - no matter where you are located in the world!
